DESCRIPTION |

The 120 mm round with a HE mortars bomb is intended to defeat through its high-explosive and fragmentation action enemy troops, unarmored and lightly armored vehicles, located on counter slopes, in ravines and filed light-type shelters, as well as to destroy observation posts and light defensive fortifications. The fragmentation lethal effect is evident in a radius of not less than 18 m upon firing to a maximum range of not less than 6000 m under the following conditions of operational use: |

- he round shall function when fired from the Commando, M2, M19, M224, M224A1, M60-16, and M6-111 mortars. |

- under conditions of rain, snow, and dustiness; after storage in the open, under shelter, on unheated and heated premises; after transportation by road, rail, sea, and airborne landing |
