The TOV/M50 Machine Gun is formed by mounting the M50 machine gun on a stand connected to a tripod, pistol operating mechanism, spring-loaded stock and optical sight to provide accurate fire. The machine gun design provides reliable function, non-stop, and miniaturized environments. It is a gas-operated weapon, with a sliding block as a locking system. The barrel is cold-made, with a chrome-plated interior, which provides a long service life with unchanged ballistic characteristics. The barrel is disassembled from the machine gun quickly and easily, so in heavy duty it is possible to quickly cool it down or replace it with a spare one. The machine gun is fed from a belt, placed in an ammunition box with a capacity of 60 rounds.
