Ammunition Type: |
High Explosive Squash Head (HESH). Unlike standard armor-piercing rounds that use kinetic energy to penetrate, HESH rounds use a plastic explosive that "squashes" against the target's armor before detonating, creating a shockwave that causes lethal internal fragmentation (spalling). |

|
Weapon Systems: |
Primarily used 128mm BAT, MOBAT, and WOMBAT recoilless rifles, |
|

The round is characterized by its blunt, rounded nose designed to maximize the contact area for the plastic explosive filler upon impact. |
