23X152MM Armour Piercing Incendiary Projectile
This heavy-caliber round is designed for use in artillery and armored fighting vehicles. It features a streamlined projectile with a yellow tip, a black body section, and a copper driving band that ensures stability and accuracy during firing. The lower section consists of a robust metallic casing engineered to withstand high chamber pressures. Depending on configuration, this type of shell can serve as either high-explosive or armor-piercing ammunition, delivering maximum destructive effect against fortified targets and armored vehicles. Its design reflects advanced ordnance engineering, combining penetration capability with explosive impact.

DESCRIPTION |
- Various types of 23×152mm ammunition are designed for air defense systems. These rounds are compatible with specially designed machine guns, such as the ZU-23-2 and ZSU-23-4 and their derivatives, and are designed to destroy aerial targets, unarmored ground vehicles, and lightly armored vehicles. |
- This particular round features a capped penetrator designed to improve armor penetration by reducing the likelihood of the projectile shattering upon high-velocity impact. Variations of this caliber are common in modern infantry fighting vehicles and naval platforms for defense against light armor and aerial threats. |
